In Cervia, the 34th edition of Il Sarchiapone, a competition for up-and-coming comedians, with the 'Walter Chiari Prize' awarded to the greats of show business in memory of Walter Chiari. 
 
The famous event dedicated to comedy was devised by Bruno Guidazzi aka "Zimbo" in memory of the histrionic actor Walter Chiari, whose collaborator and manager he was for a long time, but above all his friend. 
 
Entertainment, music, cabaret, young talent, memories and laughter will follow one another on the Sarchiapone stage, which, besides being an important showcase for national comedy, has been a springboard for numerous actors, now famous. 
 
In addition to the comedy competition, the evening will host the awarding of the Walter Chiari Prize, a recognition dedicated to personalities who have distinguished themselves on the Italian artistic scene, including television, theatre, music and cinema, in the 2023-2024 season. The atmosphere is made even more special by the presence of well-known guests and the enthusiastic participation of the public, who every year crowd the square, contributing to the success of the initiative.
