XP DAY 2025 – Ecological Gathering

Detector Centre, in collaboration with Proloco Riviera dei Pini, is organising XP DAY 2025 – Ecological Gathering in Tagliata di Cervia, an event dedicated to the passion for metal detecting and respect for the environment.

The objective is to clean the beach using metal detectors.

The event kicks off on Saturday evening with a propitiatory dinner, an opportunity to chat, get to know each other and enjoy the legendary Polenta Cusa. On Sunday, the metal detectors are switched on and XP DAY officially begins with the cleaning of Tagliata di Cervia beach, combining passion with the desire to do something useful for the environment. In addition, there are many prestigious prizes to be won.

Programme

Saturday, 4 October
Alpine Polenta Festival
Parco dei Gemelli, Tagliata
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
A convivial evening with a special polenta-based menu. Paolo ‘Gibba’ Campanardi from Alto Garda in Brescia will treat us to the typical ‘cusa’ polenta. 
Limited seating. Not included in the registration fee.

Sunday, 5 October
Pick up your registration kit at the Detector Centre stand
Parco dei Gemelli, Tagliata
8:00–9:00 a.m.

Search begins on the beach
from 9:30 a.m.
Help keep the beach clean with your metal detector. Find metal waste and throw it in the appropriate containers. If you find the XP DAY 2025 numbered tokens that we have hidden in the sand, DO NOT throw them away, because you have won the corresponding prize.

Lunch break
12:30 p.m.
The break is free. Please note that the Pro Loco Riviera dei Pini is organising a Paella Menu at ‘La Casina’ in Parco dei Gemelli in Tagliata di Cervia, with reservations required at the Pro Loco. Book here.

Awards ceremony
2:30 p.m.
Awarding of prizes linked to the XP DAY 2025 tokens. Random drawing of tickets with awarding of main prizes.
