Rising at dawn

The evocative “Levata all’Alba” sailing event returns to Cervia, marking the end of summer with a unique experience of sea, light and tradition.

Born as an informal gathering among friends, it has grown over the years into a much-loved event, known for its authentic charm: instead of a starting signal, the race begins at sunrise, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

The event is open to all leisure sailing boats and follows a route of حوالي 10 nautical miles north of Cervia, finishing offshore near the harbour.

At the end of the sail, participants gather on land for a convivial moment with a traditional “Romagna breakfast”, celebrating the spirit of sharing that defines the event.

The initiative is organized by the Congrega del Passatore in collaboration with the Circolo Nautico Amici della Vela Cervia.
