Emilia Romagna Festival
On Friday, July 4th, Monday, July 13th, and Friday, July 24th, the program offers an exceptional musical itinerary that combines the rigor of European classicism with folk and jazz sounds from across the ocean. The audience will travel through time with the famous string compositions of Schubert and Schumann, alongside the Italian premiere of contemporary composer Konstantia Gourzi.
The atmosphere will then be colored by the overwhelming energy of jazz, with the Saxofollia quartet’s original tribute to the centenaries of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, before landing in Ireland thanks to forty years of authentic field research by Birkin Tree, masters of traditional Celtic music.
