Ironman Italy Emilia Romagna
IRONMAN is the longest official distance triathlon, one of the toughest races ever. the only Italian stage of this spectacular American sport returns in Cervia. Get ready for an incredible challenge!
The race kicks off on Cervia beach, where at first light in the morning triathletes will dive into the sea to swim the first 3.8 kilometres. Upon arrival, IRONMAN continues with the most scenic stage of all. Riding their bikes, the athletes will pedal 180 kilometres through the Saline Nature Park, past magnificent pink flamingos, luminous pools of water and the pungent smell of salt water. Then up into the hills to Bertinoro and back.
The race concludes with a marathon through the most characteristic parts of the resort. The athletes who manage to cross the coveted finish line will be awarded the title of Ironman 'finisher' in Italy.
It will be a unique weekend of one of the most difficult and, at the same time, incredible sports.

Check-in and race number collection on Thursday 18th from 10:00 to 18:30 at the Info Point outside the registration tent.

A fun race without timing, designed for young athletes aged 3 to 16 who want to experience the thrill of Ironman, but tailored to their needs.

Swimming route (3.8 km) from the public beach in Cervia.
Cycling route (180 km) from Cervia to Bertinoro, crossing the salt pans and hills, and back.
Running route (42.2 km) consisting of 4 laps of 10 km between Cervia and Milano Marittima.
