Nòt Film Fest

Nòt Film Fest, one of Italy’s leading international festivals dedicated to independent cinema, returns to Santarcangelo di Romagna for its fourth edition, taking place from August 26th to 31st.

Set in one of the most enchanting towns in the Romagna hinterland, nestled amid rolling hills and countryside with sweeping views of the Adriatic and just a few kilometers from Rimini, the birthplace of Federico Fellini, the festival offers a uniquely atmospheric setting.

For an entire week, Santarcangelo becomes a vibrant meeting point for filmmakers, screenwriters, producers, cinema lovers, and industry professionals from around the globe. Representatives from festivals, foundations, universities, and embassies across Europe, Asia, and the United States gather here to celebrate the best in indie cinema and to discover emerging voices and bold new visions.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2017 by a group of friends bonded by a shared passion for independent film and a common experience of rejection from the traditional film industry, Nòt Film Fest was conceived as a modern salon des refusés.

It has found its perfect home in Santarcangelo, a dynamic, ever-evolving town that embraces and nurtures the most free-spirited and experimental forms of artistic expression, weaving them seamlessly into its rich cultural heritage.
