Christmas in Ravenna

Christmas in Ravenna is lit up with colours thanks to a rich schedule of events dedicated to the magical festive season.

In the streets of the city center you will find the traditional Christmas markets, while in the main square, Piazza del Popolo, the fascinating tree offered by Andalo, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, will stand.

In the nearby Piazza Kennedy a large ice rink will welcome children of all ages, while Piazza San Francesco will be the location of the traditional Christmas Village, ensuring fun activities for the whole holiday season.

The churches around the city are embellished with nativity scenes and the streets shine with a ceiling of golden stars. You will have the possibility to stroll around the city, admire the Unesco World Heritage Monuments, be enchanted by the lights or simply walk among the decorated shop windows.

Various concerts, shows and art exhibitions will take place during the whole festive season, livening up every corner of the historical centre. For a more interesting stay in the city, you will also have the possibility to take part in one of the many guided tours.
