Faenza and Brisighella. Where nature becomes art.
The UNESCO Grand Tour of the city of majolica and the chalk village of Brisighella, amidst art, history, and flavors.
Upon arrival in Faenza, we visit its remarkable historic center with its precious neoclassical heritage and the rich art gallery. The tour continues with the MIC, the world's largest museum of ceramic art, with over 60,000 works, ranging from prehistoric to contemporary. An extraordinary opportunity to witness the creation of a ceramic object firsthand. A typical buffet lunch offers a selection of Romagna flavors. We then set off for Brisighella, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, astonishing for the quality and quantity of its ancient architecture, beginning with the Rocca Manfrediana and Venetian fortress dating back to the early 1300s. The unique and famous Via degli Asini, a 14th-century elevated porticoed street offering breathtaking views, is also stunning. Speaking of flavors, the tour concludes with a guided tasting of Brisighella olive oil, one of the finest in Emilia-Romagna.• Dates
