Balamondo World Music Festival

Balamondo World Music Festival Balamondo World Music Festival

From September 1st to 4th, Rimini hosts the Balamondo World Music FestivalExternal link
The innovative festival where artists bring elements of their own music to the stage and then merge them with the folk tradition of Romagna, Liscio, is back to Rimini, in Fellini square, at the beach area.
Artistic director Mirko Casadei who performs with his Big Band, is accompanied by nationally and internationally renowned artists.
Among the guests for 2025 who will perform on the Rimini stage are:

  • September 1st: Nomadi, a historic Italian music group, will perform their greatest hits from the '70s and '80s.
  • September 2nd: Paolo Jannacci, son of the famous Enzo Jannacci, is a versatile musician and singer-songwriter. He has forged a successful solo career with a style that blends jazz with other genres.
  • September 4th: I Patagarri, a band from Milan, will offer their engaging gypsy jazz, mixing the desire to escape daily life with the harsh reality of pursuing one's dreams.

On September 3rd, the event is at the Grand Hotel, where they will discuss "Il Liscio e i mondi lontanissimi" (Liscio and distant worlds) with Mirko Casadei, Mirco Mariani (Extraliscio), and Pier Francesco Pacoda, a well-known journalist, music critic, essayist, and record producer.

An appointment that pays homage to the popular culture of Romagna, to that sunny, positive and welcoming identity that distinguishes this land.
