Among the gentle geometries of the hills of the Savio Valley is an itinerary that interweaves spirituality, landscape and wine culture, in an area where every stone and every row of vines tells a story.
The experience winds through the vineyards and cellars of Mercato Saraceno, recognised as a "Wine City" from 2022. An orderly, living landscape, where the hand of man and the hand of nature have been interacting for centuries, shaping a wine-making tradition of great value.
Among the rows of vines you will discover the most authentic expressions of the territory: the intense character of the Sangiovese DOC, the freshness of the Trebbiano and the elegant structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon DOC, through to the Famoso DOC, an indigenous vine that has been recovered and proudly guarded as a testimony to the valley's identity.

The route begins at the evocative Pieve di San Damiano, immersed in an atmosphere of peace and tradition. It then continues with a visit to a nearby wine cellar, where the scents of wine and tales of the local wine-making tradition culminate in a tasting of local delicacies. A few steps from the heart of the town, then, the elegant Palazzo Dolcini recounts the town's cultural and architectural history, before strolling through the characteristic streets of the historic centre, amidst picturesque views and genuine atmospheres. Finally, the tour continues to Montesasso to visit the small village church and the local wine cellar, providing an authentic experience of Romagna traditions, landscapes and flavours.

An itinerary that invites you to slow down, observe and savour, letting yourself be guided through harmonious landscapes, ancient memories and glasses that tell the story of a generous land.
