XMAS Arts - Christmas is a work of art
In Milano Marittima with the Christmas event XMAS Arts - Christmas is a work of art the centre is decorated with elegant and sparkling light installations, creating a magical atmosphere.
In the Rotunda an enchanted Christmas Forest is recreated with 300 plants forming a path inside.
Along the streets you will find a number of large-scale scenic installations, such as the sculpted Artistic Nativity Scene, with astonishing 3-metre-high statues and a large Father Christmas. In addition, a multimedia artistic nativity scene is projected on the façade of the Stella Martis parish church.
The weekends will be full of events, shows, entertainment along the streets and free concerts and shows on a large stage set up near the Christmas Forest in the Rotonda Primo Maggio.
The Christmas Express train will travel between Cervia, the South Pole station, and Milano Marittima, the North Pole station, on weekends and holidays with departures every 20 minutes.
Saturday 30 November at 4.30 p.m. is scheduled for the inauguration with the ribbon-cutting ceremony by Mayor Mattia Misissiroli.
A Christmas with a reference to tradition but at the same time very contemporary.
