On April 24, 2026, Milano Marittima comes alive with the energy and creativity of the children from G. Mazzini Primary School, leading the project “A BREATH OF SPRING”. In collaboration with the Parents’ Committee and the Pro Loco, around 180 students created colorful paper pinwheels during creative workshops, symbolizing participation, community and hope.
The pinwheels will be distributed to local businesses along Viale Matteotti up to Viale Gramsci, in a simple yet meaningful gesture that strengthens the connection between school, citizens and local activities. The initiative highlights Milano Marittima as a lively destination all year round, where even the youngest actively contribute to community life.
The project also conveys a positive and sustainable message, anticipating the spirit of the International Kite Festival and promoting an image of a welcoming, creative and open city.
