Paolo Nori - La Libertà e La Disperazione
At the Arena Stadio dei Pini in Milano Marittima, a double appointment with Paolo Nori: The Freedom. First Episode on June 24 and The Despair. Second Episode on June 25.
Two intimate and ironic monologues in which the writer and translator Paolo Nori brings his literary universe to the stage, suspended between autobiography, reflection and the great tradition of Russian literature. With his unmistakable style—light, witty and deeply human—Nori reflects on freedom, vocation, memory and writing, intertwining personal memories with imagined encounters with authors such as Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Gogol and Brodsky.
Joining him on stage is musician Alessandro Nidi, who interacts with the narrative through musical interludes and shared moments with Nori himself. The result is an engaging and delicate theatrical storytelling, halfway between confession and narration, moving naturally between Emilia and Russia, between irony and melancholy.
