Granfondo Via del Sale
The 29th edition of the Granfondo Via del Sale Fantini Club is one of the most important granfondo cycling races. With new adrenaline-filled routes and the Formignano time trial climb, it’s a must for anyone who loves road cycling adventures.
A race that combines effort and the thrill of challenging yourself — especially on the legendary Pantani climb.
From the sea to the hills, through breathtaking landscapes to ride with energy and enthusiasm, featuring exciting routes and the Formignano time trial climb: two routes are planned, differing in length and elevation, to push your limits.
For the sixth consecutive year, the Granfondo will be open to all types of e-bikes. Not only road bikes, but also MTB, gravel, and all kinds of pedal-assist bicycles are welcome. This choice aims to include everyone — even those who, due to health issues or limited training, still want to take part.
Given the amateur nature of the event, no ranking will be drawn up for e-bike participants; however, a list of finishers will be published, including their completion times.
Along the route, there will be various refreshment points, and at the end, a pasta party to celebrate all together.
During the race weekend, the Expo Area will be set up along the seafront, showcasing all the latest innovations from the cycling world — a place to meet manufacturers, exchange ideas, and get tips from the champions present at the stands.
The Cervia Cycling Festival, scheduled from March 27 to 29, 2026, will be a true celebration of cycling — three days of events, meetings, and activities designed for all athletes and their families. An event that’s much more than just a race!

Pantani: the pirate, simply Marco
3 p.m.
Talk Show in memory of Marco Pantani, moderated by Daniel Guidi, which will explore the champion's life in 360°. Unforgettable anecdotes from his private life will be recounted, thanks to the numerous guests who will speak, such as:
Tonina Belletti, Marco's mother, Moreno ‘Jumbo’ Lotti, Michel Del Vecchio, Stefano Serra, Giuseppe ‘Pino’ Roncucci.

Opening the Summer Review ‘Meeting the Author’ on Saturday 5 April at 4.30 p.m. at the Fantini Club will be Morena Tartagni, with her book ‘Volevo fare la corridora: la via, la passione, le battaglie della campionessa di ciclismo Morena Tartagni’ (I wanted to be a runner: the path, the passion, the battles of cycling champion Morena Tartagni) published by Edicilo editore. The moderator of the presentation will be Dario Fantini.

Dinner, open to all sports and cycling enthusiasts, in the presence of authoritative guests from the world of journalism and sport. During the evening the Discover Cervia Milano Marittima Prize will be awarded to a well-known sports journalist.
