MUSA – Salt Museum
The MUSA – Salt Museum of Cervia is one of the symbolic places of the city’s history and identity.
From September to May, the museum welcomes visitors and curious guests on weekends and public holidays, offering the opportunity to discover the deep connection between Cervia and salt production, an activity that shaped the life, economy and landscape of the area for centuries.
Through tools, historical accounts and stories from the salt workers, MUSA preserves the memory of an ancient tradition and continues to promote a unique cultural heritage of the Adriatic.
Opening Hours
From 15 September 2026 to 30 May 2027
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
14:30–19:00
Admission is free on the first Sunday of every month.
Guided Tours
A free guided tour (included in the museum admission ticket, €2 per person), led by local salt workers, who share the history of the town and explain traditional salt production techniques using tools, photographs and documents.
