La Capanna del bambinello

From 8 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, just a few kilometres from Ravenna, the town of Villanova di Bagnacavallo - long renowned for its artisanal heritage rooted in the use of river marsh plants - will host a special exhibition of creative and sustainable Nativity scenes made from natural and upcycled materials.

The Ecomuseum and its Ethno-park, with their evocative reed-thatched huts, will become the atmospheric setting for the event. On 19th December 2025, during the enchanting “Night of the Nativity Scenes", the traditional Nativity Walk will take place, along with the moonlit inauguration of the exhibition, featuring a warm, communal dinner and Christmas carols.
