New Year's Eve on the Rimini Riviera: The party is here, between the sea and the inland villages

New Year's Eve on the Rimini Riviera is a journey across the sea and the hills, a unique way of welcoming the New Year amidst lively parties, evocative atmospheres and traditions that are renewed.

From the coast to the hinterland, each place has its own identity and its own special way of celebrating the arrival of 2026.

• Bellaria-Igea Marina welcomes New Year's Eve with Capodanno Diffuso Live: a large open-air party that transforms the P. Guidi pedestrian boulevard into a long route of music and entertainment. On the evening of 31 December, from 9 pm, five stages will host proposals for everyone: from New Year's Eve for Children with the Combriccola dei Lillipuziani in Piazza Matteotti, to live concerts from 11 pm with Mirko Casadei POPular Folk Orchestra, Ridillo, Radio LatteMiele & La La Band and DJ Space Invaders. On 1 January, the celebrations continue with the Queentet - Queen Tribute Band at 4.30 pm in Via Paolo Guidi.
• Cattolica celebrates New Year's Eve immersed in the magic of the Forest of Light. On 31 December, from 5 pm to 2 am, Radio Show and DJ Set spread with Radio Bruno, Radio Sabbia and Radio Gamma will liven up the town. In Piazza Roosevelt, the live concert by JJ Vianello & Gli Intoccabili will make the square dance until late at night.
• Riccione proposes a widespread New Year's Eve among music and tradition. On 31 December in Piazzale Ceccarini there will be Disco Romantica: from 10 pm the party kicks off with Aquafan and the DJs of "Nostalgia 90" who will bring the 90s back to life from 11 pm. On 1 January, at 4 and 5 p.m., the musical show C'era una svolta brings entertainment to Piazzale Ceccarini, while at 11.30 a.m. in Piazzale Roma the bravest will dive into the Adriatic for the traditional New Year's Eve Plunge.

From the energy of the coast we move inland, where New Year's Eve takes on a more intimate atmosphere.

• Verucchio welcomes the New Year with music, gastronomy and tradition. On 31 December, the square comes alive with food stands, musical entertainment, and a collective toast at midnight.
• Pennabilli celebrates with New Year's Eve in the piazza, the biggest party of the year. From 11.45 p.m. in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II people gather to toast together. At midnight, people kiss each other under the bower of good luck made of mistletoe and propitiatory grapes, then burn the puppet of the old year in the "Big Brazier" to symbolically eliminate bad memories. The sky lights up with fireworks and dancing continues until dawn, in an atmosphere of spontaneous fun, human warmth and friendship.
