Rimini Marathon

On Sunday 19 April 2026, the eleventh edition of the Rimini Marathon will proudly host the Italian Absolute Marathon Championships for the first time. 

Awarded by FIDAL, this prestigious event will see Italy’s elite top runners compete for the national title (tricolore) along a scenic route spanning the historic city centre and the seafront.

The event solidifies Rimini’s reputation as a premier venue for major international sporting fixtures, with the Marathon Village in Marina Centro (Piazzale Fellini) serving as the main hub. 

The three-day programme features 42km and 21km competitive races, alongside entertainment, live music, and inclusive runs open to all: the Ten Miles (16km), the Family Run (6km), and the Kids Run (2km). 

The national gathering of "wheelchair pushers" also returns, highlighting the inclusive spirit of the festival.
