Zitella Cake in feast
Tuesday, 16 September, in Borgo Marina in Cervia, an event to savour!
A celebration dedicated to the Torta della Zitella, a dessert made with almond flour, pine nuts, sponge cake soaked in Alchermes liqueur and blackberry jam, created by students and teachers at the Tonino Guerra Hotel Management School in Cervia as a traditional dessert for the Sposalizio del Mare (Marriage of the Sea) festival.
Representatives from the Cervia local government will participate in the cutting of the cake.
