In Milano Marittima, the holidays shine with magic and creativity.
The town centre transforms into a luminous stage where art, music, and the Christmas atmosphere come together, offering every visitor a truly unique experience.
The Mare d’Arte Festival returns, the cultural event directed by Gianluca Orazi and created in collaboration with Sky Arte. For the winter preview of the 2026 edition, Rotonda Primo Maggio hosts a work of great international prestige: We Rise by Lifting Others, a light installation by Marinella Senatore, already presented in globally renowned contexts.
Starting 30 November, this monumental installation will create a space filled with light and connection. The quotes that illuminate it — “We Rise By Lifting Others” and “I Contain Multitudes” — invite reflection on the value of community, closeness, and the relationships that unite us. A work that embraces, gathers, and tells a story, offering the Garden City a Christmas scenography of extraordinary intensity.
During the weekends, the streets of the centre resound with Tacabanda, the musical programme promoted by Ater Fondazione and animated by bands, choirs, and instrumental ensembles from Emilia-Romagna, coordinated by Assonanza ETS and ANBIMA Emilia Romagna. A sound journey bringing energy, tradition, and fun through the illuminated streets, turning every corner into a small festive stage.
To enrich the schedule, shows, activities, and a welcoming Christmas market set up in the traditional wooden chalets: the perfect place to find gift ideas, craft products, and all the warmth of holiday shopping.
A Christmas that unites, moves, and lights up, with contemporary art, live music, and moments to share.

Gourmet Market in the Christmas Chalets
30 November–21 December, holidays and pre-holidays – 10:00–22:00
24 December–6 January, every day – 10:00–22:00
In the gourmet chalets, you can taste traditional specialties: platters of cold cuts and porchetta paired with local wines, mulled wine, bombardino, and delicious hot chocolate.
For those with a sweet tooth: artisan crêpes made with local zero-km ingredients and torta tenerina with handmade whipped cream, making every bite a celebration.
