Cervia is getting ready to celebrate a special Christmas, with a rich calendar of events that, from November 29, 2025, to January 6, 2026, will transform the city into a large open-air stage.

The beating heart of the festivities will be the historic town center, which will become a true Christmas Village. The streets will light up with enchanting decorations, while Piazza Garibaldi will host charming wooden chalets with local producers, a large ice rink, and the traditional Christmas tree donated by Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo, which will be lit on December 8 during a festive concert by local schoolchildren.

On weekends, the city center will come alive with workshops, craft markets, live music, street artists, and shows for the whole family.

Borgomarina, the San Michele Tower, and the Salt Warehouses area will also be festively decorated, featuring the return of the evocative Salt Nativity Scene, set up on a historic "burchiella" boat in the canal port. The Salt Warehouses will also host markets and an exhibition of artistic nativity scenes, with themed events organized by the Consorzio Cervia Centro.

For New Year’s Eve, there will be two events to ring in 2026, with music and entertainment taking place both under the San Michele Tower and in Piazza Garibaldi, welcoming residents and visitors alike.

Milano Marittima will also play a leading role in Cervia’s Christmas, with the artistic installation of the Mare d'Arte Festival in the Rotonda Primo Maggio, elegant lighting along the shopping streets, and traveling shows and music from the “Tacabanda” project. On January 1, the new year will begin with a lively open-air concert.

Also not to be missed is the traditional and fun Epifany Dive on January 6 in Pinarella and Tagliata — a costumed swim in the sea, with prizes for the most original outfits!

New this year, the Sports Hall will host a major festival dedicated to liscio (traditional Romagna dance) and folklore, in collaboration with MEI – Meeting of the Independents, to celebrate the Romagna identity.

In Cervia, Milano Marittima, Pinarella, and Tagliata, countless initiatives to enjoy together the most magical time of the year!
