The Ancient Camillone saltpan is the open-air section of Musa, the Salt Museum. A Slow Food Presidium since 2004 for the production of Cervia's 'sweet' salt, it is the last remaining artisanal saltpan after the transformation of the approximately 150 existing ones in the 1950s.

On Thursdays and Sundays, during the visit, the salt workers explain the various stages of processing and production.

Meet at 4.30 p.m. at the car park at the Saltpan Visitor Centre in Via Bova 61. A salt worker will accompany participants to the Camillone Saltworks.
