Nessun Disturbo
From October 3 to 31, 2026, the Maria Goia Municipal Library in Cervia will host "Nessun Disturbo", a photography project by Luana Viaggi, created in collaboration with the Municipality of Cervia and AMRER – Emilia-Romagna Association of Rheumatic Disease Patients.
At the heart of the exhibition is fibromyalgia, a condition that is often difficult to describe because, although its symptoms can have a significant impact on everyday life, they are not immediately visible. Through photography, Luana Viaggi seeks to give a visual form to this experience, following the personal journey of Terry, the protagonist of the project.
The exhibition features 21 fine-art prints, created mainly in the pine forest of Milano Marittima. This natural setting, which holds particular significance for Terry, becomes the visual thread running throughout the project: the pine forest is not simply the backdrop to the photographs, but becomes a place for listening, healing and reconnecting with oneself.
The relationship with nature therefore plays a central role in the protagonist’s story. A great lover of the outdoors, Terry has chosen to transform this experience into a new personal path, recently becoming a Forest Bathing guide.
A journey that grew out of her experience with fibromyalgia and that, in a way, has found a new direction precisely through it.
