Cervia
European Archaeology Days
The archaeology event in Cervia offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich past of the area through stories, artifacts, and evidence that bring to light the city’s history and its long-standing connection with the sea and salt production.
A special chance to engage with history in an immersive way and rediscover the cultural heritage that makes Cervia a distinctive destination along the Adriatic coast.
During the event, archaeologists from the University of Bologna will present the project, sharing the results of the latest archaeological investigations and offering insights into the discoveries made during the most recent research campaign in the summer of 2025. They will also outline future developments, including upcoming research goals and key areas of study.
