Events at MUSA – Salt Museum
Starting from 7 January, the MUSA – Salt Museum of Cervia resumes its usual winter opening hours. The museum is open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the history and cultural identity of Cervia, a city historically linked to the salt pans and salt production.
During the winter months, MUSA presents a varied programme of initiatives dedicated to art, education and cultural dissemination, aimed at audiences of all ages.
Participation in workshops and guided tours is included in the admission ticket, subject to availability.
Admission to the Salt Museum is free on the first Sunday of each month.

In dedicated areas of the museum, experts will explain various facets of the Salt Pans Oasis, highlighting its rich wildlife, biodiversity, and how salt production interacts with the local flora and fauna.

Cervia – Sapore di Sale, 30ª edizione
A festival celebrating salt-working traditions, featuring the historical reenactment of the ancient salt delivery. On Saturday at 4:00 pm, the burchiella (traditional flat-bottomed boat), laden with salt produced in the Camillone Salt Pan, will arrive at the Salt Warehouses to the distinctive sound of the historic siren.
