Mogol - music and world
On Saturday, 9 August, in Piazza Garibaldi, there will be a show entitled Mogol - musica e parole (Mogol - music and words), a journey through the greatest hits of Italian song in tribute to Maestro Giulio Rapelli, known as Mogol, in his company.
A musical entertainment featuring Mogol, with iconic songs and unforgettable memories through a repertoire that has marked the history of Italian music. Lucio Battisti's masterpieces will be an essential part of the show, but there will also be hits performed by Adriano Celentano, Riccardo Cocciante, Gianni Morandi, Mango and many others.
The music will be interspersed with narrative moments and anecdotes, during which Mogol will reveal behind-the-scenes details of his career and the creation of his most beloved songs.
The accompanying music is by the Marené ensemble, with Massimo Bombino on piano, composer, author, arranger and teacher at Mogol's CET School, a string quartet composed of Nicoletta Bassetti, first violin, Consuelo Castellari, second violin, Manuela Trombini on viola, Giulia Costa on cello, and the lead vocals of Sara Dall'Olio, finalist in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, winner of awards throughout Europe and the United States, and a graduate of CET.
A perfect blend of music, words and memories to pay tribute to a leading figure in Italian culture.

The show is produced by Wobinda Produzioni, a company that organises events throughout Italy.
