Cervia
Arts Festival
From Friday 27 to Sunday 29 June, the Festival of the Arts returns to Cervia for its 24th edition. This three-day event, dedicated to visual arts, takes place in the picturesque setting of Piazzale dei Salinari, overlooking the Porto Canale.
The theme of this year’s edition is "The Artist’s Face."
The Festival brings together over 60 artists – including painters, sculptors, ceramists, and mosaicists – who create their works live, offering visitors the chance to observe their techniques and creative process up close. The event transforms the entire area into a large open-air art studio.
In addition to visual arts, the program features theatre performances, film screenings, music, readings, and activities for children. Each evening, a live concert adds to the experience and atmosphere:
-
Friday 27 June, 9:00 PM: opening concert with Deep Roots, an electric blues band featuring Cris Dis (vocals), Luca Zanotti (electric guitar), Lorenzo Degli Esposti (bass), and Valerio Garofano (drums). The band performs a repertoire of Chicago and Texas blues classics.
-
Saturday 28 June: more blues with the Mud Walkers, a band with Cris Dis (vocals), Antonio Iacopo Argento (electric guitar), Marco Vanharp (harmonica), and Max Testa (drums), recreating the sound of 1950s Chicago blues clubs.
-
Sunday 29 June: the Festival concludes with Etilisti Noti, a trio from Forlì composed of Annalisa Licata (vocals), Filippo Barucci (acoustic guitar), and Arlo Zenzani (violin, classical guitar, and backing vocals).
This is a unique opportunity to experience art in a direct and engaging way, in an open and inclusive environment.
The artworks created during the Festival will be featured in the collective exhibition held in October at the Magazzini del Sale.
