A tale, through the letters between Giuseppe Verdi and Giuseppina Strepponi, of the birth of the most famous and most performed opera in the world. Filippo Arriva's text is a cross-section of the story between Giuseppina and her beloved Monster, as she called Verdi, through letters that bring to light hidden corners and secrets linked to the composition of ‘La Traviata’. In fact, the performance tells an intimate story that becomes music, that shows itself to the world. The letters, especially from Giuseppina, an elegant and refined lady of the Parisian ‘belle monde’, will be for the ‘peasant’ Verdi a true ‘sentimental education’. We follow them in a crescendo of passions. They are love letters that the woman will address to the composer, but also of advice, reproaches, but above all indications of a lifestyle linked to beauty. 

Alessio Boni gives life to this epistolary exchange revealing, as a great actor, every hidden feeling, every passion, those that will later be revealed by the famous melodrama.
