A Painting for Ecology on Climate and World Peace

On 19 and 20 July in the Bosco del Duca D'Altemps in Castiglione di Cervia Una Pittura per l'Ecologia on Climate and World Peace, an exhibition of paintings en plein air by Alteo Missiroli.

In the evocative natural setting, in the shade of the great farnie trees, declared monumental trees, the works of Alteo Missiroli, painter, ecologist and Voluntary Ecological Guard are on display. A sensitive and attentive observer of what is around him, in his works he has narrated the contemporary world and its reality, constantly searching for the essence of the elements that express man's relationship with the environment. His art is presented as an evolutionary journey spanning fifty years, in which pictorial style and the use of colour become tools for expressing his own vision of the world. At the centre of his artistic production is the landscape, the natural environment and the often invasive imprint of human activities on nature.

On Sunday 20 July at 3.30 p.m. an afternoon of poetry readings to celebrate the poetry of Tolmino Baldassari, a distinguished poet from Cervia.

The initiative is part of the Cervia Garden City programme.
