From August 23rd to 25th, the enchanting hilltop village of San Leo
hosts the much-anticipated event AlchimiAlchimie, three magical days celebrating mystery, art, and the enigmatic figure of Count Cagliostro.
The historic center becomes a captivating open-air stage featuring dramatic performances and evocative atmospheres inspired by alchemy.
Highlights include the spectacular Burning of the Fortress and the symbolic Alchemical Fire. Visitors can also explore a unique market of crystals and stones, enjoy gourmet food stalls, traditional taverns, and local restaurants serving the finest regional cuisine.
The event is a tribute to Count Cagliostro, who was imprisoned in San Leo’s fortress, where he died on August 26, 1795.
