MUSA incontra Natura, Biodiversità, e Sale
MUSA - Cervia's Salt Museum meets Nature, Biodiversity and Salt by hosting guides from the Cervia Salt Visitor Centre.
The guides will reveal to young and old alike the secrets of the salt marsh related to biodiversity and how salt production affects the life of the fauna and flora that habitually inhabit the oasis. Through the stories and illustrations of the experts, you will discover the magical world of the salt marshes and its 'inhabitants', such as the halophyte plants, unique in their kind and able to adapt to the 'extreme' conditions of the salt territories. Another protagonist will be artemia salina, a small crustacean rich in beta-carotene, thanks to which the flamingos' feathers turn pink.
If you too are curious to venture out and discover the biodiversity and naturalistic aspects of the salt marsh.
The initiative is free of charge and included in the museum entrance fee,
